I’ve been back and fourth on whether or not I wanted to post my experience but I have been thinking about it non stop. I made an online inquiry for a new Ford Mustang GT. I already had a creditor lined up, trade in was detailed and looked emaculate, down payment was ready all I needed was the car I had my eyes set on. I live in Texas but thought this would still be an easy process but it wasn’t. It took 1 week for me to close the deal. There was no bargaining involved just pure incompetence on their end. As soon as Steven Adams emailed me the forms to fill out, I had them completed and sent back right then and there. He continued to ask me the same questions that were on the forms or when I emailed them he said he didnt get them so I would resend the same email I sent him previously and I would get pretty much an “oh, I’ll get right on this and contact you within an hour” after not hearing back I would call and leave a message for Kara. About this time I received a quality assurance email from the GM, Damon. I sent him an email letting him know my experience so far and thought maybe I could work with someone else. 2 days passed, no response from the GM. Not sure of the volume of this business but they are terrible at returning messages. After Steven finally got it together all I had to do was sign the contract. Since I’m out of state, Steven said they would fedex the forms to a notary, they would contact me to meet in person to sign the forms and fedex them back. Sounded simple. Kara called and said someone would call me that day to schedule the meet up. Next day arrives and still no call so I called and left a message around 9-10am with Kara’s voicemail. 3-4pm rolls around still no call from anyone so I called and left another voicemail. I get home about 8pm and keep in mind it’s been a week of trying to purchase this car, I tell my husband everything. I’m not sure who he called but I know he worked his way up to management and he finally got Steven on the ball. Come to find out they forgot or whatever their reason was...no one contacted anyone to send the forms to me. So we’ve now wasted another day. Moving on, forms finally get signed, my husband makes the 7hr trip to AL from TX and when he gets there, they’re the nicest people ever. However, in my opinion still unprofessional. When my husband got back he begins to tell me Steven told him if I post a bad review or give them a mark then they will not get the commission. Steven said Kara works hard and he would hate for her to get a deduction too. He also went on to say money is tight, wife has copd, sales are slow due to the construction they need the commission. How dare you put that on me. You provided xxxxty service. I handed this sale to you on a platter and you expect me not to be pissed!? My advice to customers purchasing out of state....have the vehicle transferred to a local dealership. Ending on a good note, I have the car I wanted, brand new Mustang GT Premium but it was like pulling teeth to get it.
